Yves Van Bavel, CEO commented Seamco’s achievements for 2021 during recent staff meeting. Sales increased for a second time in a row with 35 percent. An ideal mix filling machines for as well small bottles, larger jerrycans and massive drums and IBC’s were sold to companies filling liquid products. Exports outside Benelux accounted for almost half of sales. Several other operational goals were realised. An ideal moment for a personal attention to all staff.
Management expanded on the business plan for 2025 which includes amongst others the construction in 2022 of an additional production facility doubling the shopfloor’s surface as well as hiring additional sales engineers, automation engineers, project managers and intervention technicians.
“The outlook for 2022, with rising prices for raw materials and shortage of electronic components are challenging but good” says Yves Van Bavel. Seamco anticipated in some way and invested in additional stocks of critical components to accommodate demand for filling machines in reasonable time.
