Side, the Spanish manufacturer of PET blow molding machines, and Seamco, the engineering and contracting company for filling and packaging systems, have entered into an agreement for the distribution of Side’s PET blow molding machines.
“With multiple machines at companies like Vandeputte, McBride and Vipak, Side is the market leader in the Benelux for PET blow molding machines with a capacity of up to 7,000 bottles/hour," says Yves Van Bavel, Seamco’s Managing Director. “A big breakthrough in the food industry is imminent. Our new partner, with its wide-mouth technology, is ready to support the shift from glass to PET jars in the food industry."
Side was founded in 1975 and started manufacturing PET blow molding machines in 1990. The company specializes in blow molding machines with low to medium speeds and large formats (kegs of 30 liters).
